Understanding Scheduling & Bracketology
Success in college basketball is no longer determined solely by wins and losses—it is about understanding the metrics, building a strategic schedule, and telling your story in a way that resonates with fans, media, and selection committees. Throughout a career that includes seven NCAA Tournament appearances and multiple at-large selections, Worldwide Hoops has developed a deep understanding of NET rankings, strength of schedule, scheduling philosophy, and bracketology strategy.
From constructing schedules that led to a 49-1 record in non-conference games at Maryland to helping secure six at-large NCAA Tournament bids, our approach combines analytics, relationships, and storytelling to maximize opportunities for programs to succeed on Selection Sunday.
Our Expertise Includes:
Building schedules that maximize NET opportunities and postseason positioning.
Understanding the metrics and narratives that influence Selection Sunday decisions.
Creating campaigns such as #NCStateBracketFacts and #MDBracketFacts to ensure your program's accomplishments are part of the national conversation.
Leveraging relationships with broadcasters, media members, and industry leaders to amplify your program's story.
Helping coaches and administrators understand how every scheduling decision impacts postseason opportunities and long-term program growth.
Digital Storytelling & Social Campaigns
In today's world, the stories we tell can move communities, influence culture, and create lasting impact far beyond the game itself. Throughout his career, Nima Omidvar has developed and executed social media campaigns that have generated global attention, inspired action, strengthened communities, and built deeper connections between organizations and their audiences. Whether the goal is to reach millions or to create meaningful engagement with a select few, every campaign begins with one principle: tell an authentic story that people want to be part of.
Our Storytelling Philosophy
"Stories create movements. Movements build communities. Communities create lasting impact. At Worldwide Hoops, we don't simply market ideas—we craft authentic stories that inspire people to believe, engage, and take action."
