Justin Haynes founded Worldwide Hoops LLC in 2003 after receiving his Business Law degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He developed the Worldwide Hoops business model by applying the business strategies he obtained while working for two sports agencies in London, England. Entering his 8th year as the President of WWH, Justin has marketed the Worldwide Hoops brand and athletes to the NBA, the NBDL, and to 35 leagues in five continents throughout the world. Currently in 2010, Justin’s clients are playing in 19 different countries across the globe and his firm has become one of the top placement agencies in the U.S. While operating his agency, Justin also received his Masters degree in Sports Business from New York University in 2005.

Merle Scott, who was drafted by the New York Knicks in the 1980s, offers clients the unique representation perspective of both an athlete who has played basketball at its highest level and as someone who has represented players for the majority of the last two decades. As the President of United Worldwide, Scott completed a five-year $27 million dollar contract extension for Louis Williams (the No. 45 overall pick in the 2nd round of the 2005 NBA draft) of the Philadelphia 76ers in 2008. Worldwide Hoops has been in collaboration with Scott since 2007.

Former player at Duke University (1995-1998) and All-ACC selection (96'), Ricky was a McDonald’s All-American and he was named a unanimous USA Today Top 5 player in the country prior to enrolling at Duke University. Ricky competed and won a gold medal in the junior Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina and as a professional; he played overseas for 8 seasons. As a former player, Ricky has experienced many of the things our clients hope to achieve. He will have a great ability to relate to our clients and will be a key player in helping our players’ transition from college to the pro level.
