2009-10: Aris Friesland Leeuwarden (Holland-Eredivisie): Named Eurobasket.com Honorable Mention All-League... averaged 14.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, and 3.0 apg in 25 games before moving to Eiffel Towers Den Bosch (Holland-Eredivisie) in February '10... appeared in 13 games with Effiel Towers and averaged 9.0 ppg and 2.7 rpg... also played in two FIBA EuroChallenge games and he averaged 13.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 5.5 apg, and 1.0 spg.
2008-2009: Aris Friesland Leeuwarden (Holland-Eredivisie): Appeared in 39 games and averaged 11.3 points per game and 4.3 assists per game... shot 54.7% from 2-point and 88.2% from the free-throw line... scored in double figures in 23 games... recorded 18 points and 10 assists against the Hanzevast Capitals.
2007-08 (SENIOR): A First Team selection last season as well as the Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Blackwood's repeated both awards in his senior season. He joined Mount St. Mary's forward Mychal Kearse as two-time winners of the Defensive Player of the Year award twice. Blackwood averaged 16.4 points per game this season and dished out a team-high 153 assists. He became the first player in school history and the fifth in NEC history to post 1,500 career points and 500 career assists.
2006-07 (JUNIOR): Named 2007 Northeast Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Named First Team All-NEC. Started and played in all 34 games as a junior. Led the team in scoring for the second straight season averaging 17.1 points per game (second in the NEC), including a league-best 20.0 ppg in NEC play. Averaged 36.6 minutes played per game, tops on the team and second in the NEC. Led the NEC and was among the national leaders hitting 92.4 percent of his free-throws (97-of-105). Set an NEC and CCSU record with 122 three-point baskets. Hit a three-point basket in all but three games on the season including three or more 21 times and six or more 10 times. Hit a career-high 10 threes in win over Robert Morris at home on February 22. Posted 40 points in that game, the second-highest total in CCSU’s Division I history. In that game he also set the CCSU single season record for threes and reached 1,000 career points. Enters the season with 1,114 career points, tied for 24th all-time. Scored 583 points on the season, the fifth highest single season point total in school history. Scored in double-figures in 24 of 34 games including 15 of the final 16 games of the season. Scored 20 or more points 15 times. Led the team and was fifth in the NEC with 140 total assists averaging 4.12 per game. His 140 assists were the fifth best single-season total in school history. Finished second on the team with 52 steals giving him a career total of 103, just out of the top-10 in CCSU history.
2005-06 (SOPHOMORE): Started and played in 27 games on the season. Led the team in scoring at 14.3 points per game, eighth in the conference. Scored 385 points on the season, good for second on the team. Played at least 29 minutes in every game as a sophomore. Led the team and finished fifth in the conference with 113 assists (4.2 assists per game). Scored 28 points and dished out nine assists in quadruple overtime loss to LaSalle on December 18. Scored in double-figures in 21 games including nine of the final 10 games of the year. Had 20 or more points five times. Had a career-high 10 assists in win over Fairleigh Dickinson on January 14. Had four or more assists in a game 14 times on the season. Led the team and was ninth in the conference in steals with 35. Had seven rebounds to go along with 17 points in win over Wagner on February 16. Second on the team with 71 three-pointers made, the fifth highest single-season total in school history. Hit 54-of-60 (90.0 %) free-throw attempts on the year.

Dished out nine assists and scored eight points in his first career game on November 19 vs. Colgate. Led the team with 98 assists on the season. Finished seventh on the team, averaging 5.2 points per game. Fourth on team with 30 three-pointers made on the year. 20 of his threes came in conference play. Had four or more assists 15 times. Had five or more assists eight times and seven or more three times. Had a positive assist-turnover ratio in 24 of 28 games. Second on the team with 26 steals, one of eight players with double-figure steals on the year. In the offseason, Blackwood led Team Canada to an upset over the United States in the FIBA Under-21 World Championships. Played 25 minutes and had five assists and four rebounds in the win.
BEFORE CCSU: Played varsity basketball at Eastern Commerce for five seasons. Helped lead Eastern Commerce to three straight 4A OFSAA Championships. Named to the 2004 All-Canadian High School All-Star Game. Named Toronto Sun Mr. Basketball Ontario. Named to Toronto Sun’s All-GTA and All-Ontario teams and a member of the Toronto Star Dream Team. Led Ontario to a gold medal and was named MVP of the 2002 Juvenile Boy’s National Championships. Started two games for Canada during Summer Series 2004. Led Team Canada in assists (16) and three-point field goals (7) at the Global Games.
