Ricky Price, VP of Operations

Ricky Price, a former standout basketball player at Duke University (1995-1998), brings extensive knowledge and experience to the ever-growing Worldwide Hoops organization. While at Duke, Ricky compiled over 1,100 career points and currently ranks as one of the top 50 scorers in school history. He was an All-ACC selection (96'), ACC Defensive Player of the Year (96'), two-time ACC champion, and was an Elite Eight finalist in the 1998 NCAA tournament.

A Los Angeles, California native, Ricky was a McDonalds All-American Slam Dunk Champion and was named a unanimous USA Today Top 5 player in the country prior to enrolling at Duke University. Ricky competed and won a gold medal in the junior Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina and as a professional; he played overseas for 8 seasons. He played in France, Slovenia, Hungary, Finland, Mexico, Philippines, the CBA, and had several NBA tryouts throughout his career (Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, and Charlotte Bobcats).

As a former player, Ricky has experienced many of the things our clients hope to achieve. He will have a great ability to relate to our clients and will be a key player in helping our players’ transition from college all-star to professional athlete.
