Okapi Aalstar is working on its roster for next season and has found their point guard for the 2010-2011 season by adding American guard Stanley Burrell (190-G-84, college: Xavier) to the roster.
Burrell appeared in 31 games for Verviers-Pepinster in Belgium this past season and led the Ethias League in assists with 4.6 apg, to go with his 10.8 ppg and 2.1 rpg. The 2008 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year had his season high this year in both assists (11 assists on January 30th) and points (29 points on April 3rd) against his new club, Okapi Aalstar.
